January 16, 2010 (Harrison, NJ) In November, Chef Gordon Ramsay visited Harrison's Spanish Pavillion Restaurant to tape an episode of his Kitchen Nightmares television show which airs on the Fox network. Spanish Pavillion owners, Jerry and Michael Fernandez, invited Ramsay to assist them in revamping the restaurant's interior and menu and to give them the benefit of his professional chef and restauranteurs experience.

The episode is scheduled to air for the first time this Friday, January 21, 2011 at 8 p.m. on Fox Broadcasting Stations. Chef Ramsay may not have realized it but its not the first time that the Spanish Pavillion has hosted television celebrities. The Spanish Pavillion is located down the block from the Cleveland Auto Body, the location of several episodes of the Sopranos. Cast members and crew found their way to the Spanish Pavillion for a bite to eat. Chef Ramsay's visit to the Spanish Pavillion, a Town of Harrison institution, will definitely increase awareness of the town's ideal location and some local businesses.
