January 1, 2011. (Kearny, NJ) A Snow Storm which was forecasted to leave between 10-14 inches of snow in the West Hudson Area, managed to dump an additional 10-11 inches of snow for a total of 24 inches of snow.

The Harrison Weather Station and other weather authorities had predicted the gusty winds which would lead to Blizzard like conditions but the additional snow was not anticipated.

Members and Guests have been discussing the snow cleaning efforts of the town of Kearny and Harrison. Harrison has generally been getting favorable reviews. Kearny has been getting mixed reviews. Nobody has mentioned East Newark or North Arlington in the discussion threads.
