April 18, 2010 (Kearny, NJ) The Polls for the Kearny School Board Election have opened. This year's election voter turnout is expected to be larger than in years past. Three challengers have raised the interest surrounding what normally is a very low turnout election. The Challengers John Munro, George King and Bob O'Malley are seeking to unseat incumbents Bernadette McDonald, Alan Doffant, and Joe Sgalia. Polls are open until 9 p.m. tonight.

KOTW will report poll results as soon as they become available tonight.
