April 4, 2010 (Kearny, NJ) KOTW wishes everyone that is celebrating Easter a very Happy Easter to you, your family and friends.
The White House will hold its traditional Easter Egg Roll tomorrow. The Easter Egg Roll will be held on Monday, April 5, 2010 with the theme of “Ready, Set, Go!” promoting health and wellness. The event will feature live music, sports courts, cooking stations, storytelling and, of course, Easter egg rolling. All of the activities will encourage children to lead healthy and active lives and follow the First Lady’s ‘Let’s Move!’ initiative, a national campaign to combat childhood obesity. The White House will open its South Lawn for children aged 12 years and younger and their families.
Locally the Optimist Club of West Hudson traditionally holds a Easter Egg Hunt at the Doyle Pavilion in Kearny. The town's website did not have any information on this year's Easter Egg Hunt so we are going to have to do more research to let you know if that event already happened or is scheduled in the coming week.
